ZONE. CONFERENCE. Holy that was an amazing experience. We had the opportunity to have Elder De Feo from the Seventy come to our conferences and speak to us. That was a very much needed spiritual experience. One of my favorite things he talked to us about was about how grateful he and the Lord are for us missionaries for our service. Wow, I needed to hear that!! Missions are amazing, but it's always nice to hear that the Lord understands that what we go through is hard and it's okay.
We also had a baptism here in Rotterdam and it was SUPER cool! It was a super spiritual experience and everyone was so happy to be there. AND I got to be a witness during the baptism so that was a super cool experience! I never thought I would have to stress out about someone being completely immersed, but fear not, he was!!
So spiritual thought for the week. Something that Elder De Feo stressed MULTIPLE times to us was about the reason we're here on our missions is for Jesus Christ and we need to do everything with pure love. It was a good reminder that I can spend 18 months on my mission, but it won't mean much if I didn't do it with all the love I could give. The happiest I've been on my mission and just in my life in general is when I've tried to sincerely love the people I'm around. Even when it's sometimes hard.
