Hey y'all! Another week in isolation has come and gone and this week was actually quite eventful! Well, more eventful than the last couple of weeks. We had a few extra video chats with some other missionaries and other awesome people here in Zoetermeer so that was awesome to help the days not drag on so much. Plus the weather has been BEAUTIFUL these last couple of days!! Luckily we have a little balcony facing the sun so we can get some extra vitamin D while doing some studies. 

And naturally we had an amazing General Conference!!! I'll be honest, it made me kinda sad when they would start the conference and it wasn't in the conference center, but I still feel very blessed that we could have it online. And our mission president let us stay up to watch all of the afternoon sessions live. And how exciting that we get 8 new temples in various places...but also SYRACUSE!! So cool to have one so close by home. 

A common theme that stuck out to me personally from conference was that we are children of a loving Heavenly Father and He wants to speak to us. My time in isolation has been kind of frustrating but also one of the most spiritually growing moments of my life. I've felt so cut off from the world, yet so connected with my Father in Heaven. It takes lots of practice to recognize His voice, something that will take a lifetime plus some learning, but the process of learning how we hear Him will help us turn hearing into listening and acting. I'm so grateful for a living prophet today and I know that Russell M. Nelson is called of God to lead Christ's restored church. I love you all so much and hope you have a stellar week!!
