This week wasn't too eventful but my comp and I are staying busy while talking with people on Facebook and trying to meet with people over video chat. It's a work in progress but still progress!! I treasure the short video chats we have with others because social contact is precious!! We also got to participate in our last stake broadcast on Sunday so that was cool! After conference they're not doing it anymore so it was cool to help for the time being.
Something cool I studied this week was from Elder Uchtdorf's talk from last conference. He mentioned something about how we're not meant to live perfectly, but intentionally. We're frequently told as missionaries that exact obedience brings miracles, but I dare say that unless you're intentionally doing it, being exactly obedient isn't going to benefit you a whole lot. But if we do the work to see the reasons why we see miracles from doing things, then we begin to notice them more. This week is General Conference and I'm SOOO STOKED! We have the potential to receive great guidance and revelation from our beloved church leaders. But I know as we intentionally seek the answers to our questions and intentionally seek a spiritual feast, it will make conference that unforgettable event that President Nelson promised. (And not because there's a world pandemic going on). Love you all, enjoy your conference weekend, and stay sane while inside!!
Love,
Zuster Kapp
Pics: enjoying the sun while still keeping our 1.5 meter social distance, getting to share my testimony for the stake broadcast, and a nice bike ride to get some fresh air.
