Cool events of the week... not a lot, but my comp is learning guitar and has a beautiful voice so I get a private concert almost every free second of the day. It's super cool actually and helps me stay relaxed! Also, our mission unfortunately had to say goodbye to another group of missionaries so just like that, I became one of the oldest sisters on the mission. It was super sad to see some of my best friends leave, but I know I'll see them on the other side. (Of the Atlantic...)
Sooo this week was honestly super rough. I've felt super stressed and anxious because I feel like there's so many different possibilities for the outcome of the rest of my mission. I'm frequently bombarded with different rumors about missionaries getting sent home, new laws/rules in the Netherlands and America, news of the progression of the virus, and I've often just felt utterly hopeless. I'll sometimes be getting ready for bed at night and think, "I cannot do another day of this." But as I've turned to my Heavenly Father seeking answers, I'm always reminded that He sees the bigger picture. I know that He knows what's best for me. Through all the inconsistency around me, there's one constant, and that's the love of God and Jesus Christ. Day by day I feel lifted by the grace of the Atonement and sometimes that's all we can do, take life day by day. As young Erik would say, "Just keep spinning." Because as soon as you stop pedaling, you're gonna fall. I'm so grateful for you all and for all of your prayers! You have no idea how much they've helped me get through this week! Love y'all! Stay happy and healthy!
Love,
Zuster Kapp
Pics: even quarantines can't stop us from having district meeting and my cute comp jumped on me and gave me a hug when I was stressed lol.
