So mostly this week was continual progression in the gospel and the language of Dutch. We got a bunch of new teachers because a lot of ours reached their max time here at the MTC or found a new job. They're all super nice and I'm excited to learn from them these last 9 days... (crazy huh).
So exciting news for the week. Belgium is super weird about the people they let into their country. We've had to do a lot of weird and crazy things for our visas. But on Friday we found out we had to fly to LA to the Belgium consulate. They needed us to be fingerprinted on sight, so we got up at 2:00 in the morning on Tuesday to take a one day LA trip! It was nice to get out, but it really made me appreciate the MTC... But I did place my very first Book of Mormon to one of our Lyft drivers!!! I was sitting up front, so naturally I was the designated talker. Super scary but she was super nice and already religious. She said she was searching for a new church to join (bingo) so I started to give her the first lesson. WOAH!!!
Spiritual thought for the week! So Sunday was a historic day yeah? First day of 2 hour church and my first/only fast Sunday in the MTC! Something super spiritual about a bunch of missionaries bearing their testimonies. One testimony that was shared really stuck out to me. An elder told us to remember why we're here and what we've sacrificed to get here. Think of all our Father in Heaven sacrificed for us go gain mortal bodies on this earth!! 1/3 of his children!!! This life is truly beautiful and a gift from our Heavenly Father. Remember not to let a single day wasted. Everyday, try to make someone's day better! It's scary trust me, but you'll never feel bad if you do it. Love you all, be happy, and have an amazing week!!
Love,
Zuster Kapp
