I Have a Feeling We're Not in Kansas Anymore

Hello, what a memorable day!!! MY VERY LAST EMAIL FROM THE MTC!!! This last week has been a bit of a roller coaster, but still good! With it being my last week here, I've tried to hammer out a ton of Dutch n stuff to help me be more prepared for the field...but...

We found out this week that my entire district might be reassigned because our visas haven't come yet. As of right now, I've been reassigned to the Kansas, Wichita mission. Crazy right!!! Not going to lie, when I first saw Kansas, I was like, "What the heck do they have in Kansas?" All I could think about was like Little House on the Prairie, or Wizard of Oz. But then I got thinking a little bit more, and they do have the Royals and "modern stuff" too.

This reassignment is not a for sure thing yet. There's still a chance that our visas could come, but just in case ya'll are expecting cool pics of tulips and windmills and all you get is a corn field, that's why. :)

So spiritual thought to go with this crazy piece of news! The morning before I learned about my potential reassignment, I was reading in 2 Nephi 16:8. It says, "Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said: Here am I; send me." When I signed up for this whole mission thing, even before I got my call to beautiful Holland, I had hopes and wishes where I would go, but I just really wanted to be a missionary. Do I think that there are people in Belgium and the Netherlands that need to hear about Christ from me? Yeah totally. But if I do end up going to Kansas, I know it's for a very good reason. I'm here for my Heavenly Father and for Jesus Christ. If they need me in Kansas, then I'm going to Kansas! "I'll go where you want me to go." Love you all super tons and real world, here I come!!!

Love,
Zuster Kapp
