The Land of Frisbee Golf and Veterans Day

Hello friends and fam! I made it to Kansas!!! And let me tell you, it is a cold place here! Doesn't snow, but it's windy and humid, and I'm loving life! My trainer is Sister Rosander from Hurricane, Utah. She's super patient and super awesome! I'm excited for these next few weeks.

So the area I'm serving in is called Emporia. Fun facts, frisbee golf and Veteran's Day were invented here. My comp and I are white washing and opening this area so there's a lot of work to do! The ward is super great and feeds us lots so that's a huge blessing!!! We've had a few lessons these last few days, only problem is that the only people that have let us in really only speak Spanish. It's super great that my comp speaks Spanish, but ever since learning Dutch, the only foreign words that come out of my mouth are in Dutch... so I just don't know what's going on but I can always feel the Spirit!!!

Spiritual thought for the week! So we got a referral to go check out right before we headed in for the night, but we couldn't find the house forever! As soon as we found it, no one answered... so we both felt like knocking one more door just for funsies, and believe it or not, that was the house we were looking for!! Prayers are answered and miracles still happen! Love you all and have a blessed week!
Love,
Zuster Kapp
