Anywho, oh my goodness, this week was actually SUPER busy! Which is really weird considering how my last transfer went. I love getting to meet with so many people, but it is a little stressful to actually coordinate when we can meet with people instead of being free almost every day. We've had a lot of great things going on this week, but I'll try to keep it simple and sweet.
First we had exchanges in Eindhoven with our wonderful STLs. We met with a lot of really cool people (some interesting ones too), but overall a good experience! I'm glad my new comp was still willing to come back to Maastricht with me after hehe. We've had some great appointments with some awesome people so that's been a really fun change! During one of our lessons, the lady we were teaching said she's glad she can now recognize her good thoughts as given from God. It was so good to hear that from her, because all good things come from God, so even the small little thoughts that make us happy are from our loving Heavenly Father!
Crazy highlight of the week, we had a super cool ward activity on Saturday at this barefoot park thing. Unfortunately, my comp and I were not aware that we would be doing this sort of activity. We thought it was just a picnic. So dressed in our missionary attire, we slid our shoes off and walked through mud, dirt, water, and everything else on the path. Super weird and my feet were a little sore after, but twas a good time. We had lots of fun!
Spiritual thought for this week: So we had a super cool experience yesterday. We had to go to Eindhoven so Zuster Barger could get fingerprinted for her residency to stay here. On the way there these two ladies sat by us and asked about our name tags. They asked in English so naturally I asked where they were from... believe it or not they were from Ecuador!! (Love meeting people from there). So I kinda geeked out about their country and kept talking some more. One turned to the other and said something in Spanish about what we said about our church, and I out of the blue responded to her question... in Spanish. The promise given in D&C 33:8 works! I guess I did learn a thing or two in Kansas, and it was super cool to witness these miracles!
Hope you all have a fabulous week!!
Love,
Zuster Kapp
