Week one, gedaan!

Hey y'all, so I officially made it through my first week as a trainer! Wow, I'll be honest, it was rough. Having to say goodbye to the amazing three sisters I roomed with for the last 6 weeks and the stress of taking over the area and a new missionary on top of that meant some stress and a few tears. But no worries, I'm doing good and we're ready to do some good work here. My new comp is Zuster Barger from Lehi, Utah and she's awesome! She's been great at just jumping right in and soaking up as much as she can. I'm super excited for the time we have to work together.

So our area went back down to just two sisters, so all of the people the other sisters were teaching now fell into our teaching pool. It's been very interesting and super exciting to actually have people to teach instead of finding all day every day! Sharing the gospel is just a blast!

Spiritual thought for this week, I was reading a talk by Elder Uchtdorf yesterday about how we can achieve the same happiness that God experiences. A big point he focused on was being compassionate to others. Yes, regularly praying can make us extremely happy, but being the answer to someone else's prayers? Wow, what a blessing not just for us, but to see ourselves as instruments in the hands of God. Try looking for simple acts of service to do for those around you. You never know how simple acts can be a big answer to prayers. Love you all super tons and hope you all have an amazing week!!

Love,
Zuster Kapp
