Hey fam! So interesting experience. We received our transfer calls this week and I will be..... STAYING! Super excited to be actually staying in an area, but here's the catch, I'm getting me a new missionary to train! Not gonna lie, kinda real nervous, but I'm excited for this new adventure. But I will be spending my pday picking her up, so quick rundown...
Real quick, happy birthday America Thursday! We were sure to celebrate with a picnic in the park and some burgers for dinner. And it must've been the patriotism or something because I guess the U.S. won the world cup! Don't worry, I'm still American at heart and glad they beat the Netherlands.
Quick thought to conclude this short email. The last few days, I've thought a lot about the whole faith over fear thing. We learn in Moroni 7:33 that if we have real faith, we can do anything the Lord sets in front of us. Sometimes that faith is hard! I mean I'm having a hard time coping with the fact that I have to teach a new missionary what being a missionary is like. No pressure right? But even when we question ourselves, actually trying out what the Lord has asked of us is a great way to show our faith. Gotta take a step if you want to get anywhere.
