So not a whole ton happened this week. Just the normal missionary work stuff and trying to bring those good souls closer to Christ. Had some let downs with some situations, but that did not bring us down. It's so amazing to see so many miracles in this work!! Even on the bad days, there is something good to brighten it up! Fun activity from this week, we have some members from Germany in our ward that I've gotten pretty close to these last few months. They had us over for dinner the other night and were so gracious to not only cook us delicious food, but taught me how to make a good authentic German schnitzel. Basically a professional now!!
Anyway, kinda short today, but quick spiritual thought to tie off this email, I've been trying to do better at working on the Come Follow Me everyday instead of just overloading myself with a bunch of bible verses all at once. Then maybe I'd get a little more out of it lol. Anyway, as I was starting the chapters for this week, I really liked 1 Corinthians 1:17. Paul talks about how he was not sent to baptize, but to preach the gospel. It really helped to see that an apostle of Jesus Christ had difficulties converting people as well. But he was sent to preach and help those come closer to Christ, and that's exactly what he did. Sometimes we expect too much out of ourselves, but as long as we do what God has asked us, we can feel satisfied with our work, even if we don't see "results." Hope you all have a fabulous week!
Love,
Zuster Kapp
Pics: Cute fam that I got to play for as they sang in church, and pretty view on my train ride.
