ANYWAY, not a ton happened this week. But that doesn't mean that we didn't have a stellar week! Over the weekend I got to go on an exchange with one of my old comps, Zuster Lloyd. Wow, that was a party! We got to go to a little centrum and talk to people about family history. Although people were caught up in the hustle and bustle of Saturday shopping, we were able to have a few awesome conversations about the importance of knowing about our family history. Twas cool! I also tried to take a dose of my own medicine and learned that I am a descendant of a Queen of Portugal!! When I told my ward mission leader, he proceeded to bow down to me and call me Princess Madison. I'll be requesting a new name tag with my proper name on it, lol.
Cool story party two! My comp and I were contacting people yesterday and it was one of the wildest contacting days I've ever had. We had a lot of cool conversations and they were in a LOT of different languages! The funniest one was that we contacted someone solely through google translate. It was so funny, but hey, they said that they wanted a Book of Mormon! I attempted to do a contact in Spanish, but after I introduced us as missionaries and why we were there talking to people... I started speaking Dutch. Oops. But A for effort right?
So in this month's Liahona, there was a really cool article about feeling more happy. One of the tips goes PERFECTLY with this week. One way to help us feel happier is to be more grateful. This week, try to make an extra effort to tell those you're grateful for that you love them and appreciate them. I hope you all have a stellar Thanksgiving and know that I love and appreciate you all! ;)
Love,
Zuster Kapp
