We also had a super fun Thanksgiving party with the missionaries here. We all pitched in and made stuff for dinner and shared the love. I am happy to say that my first time making mashed potatoes was a success! *thumbs-up. Twas an evening that the Dutch would call, "Gezellig." We also had a super fun pday today where we got to tour this boat museum. Lots of cool stuff about boats (I know it sounds boring, but it was really interactive and interesting). But pictures will follow.
Spiritual thought for this week. I was reading a really good talk by Elder Holland about the ministering of angels all around us. I feel like it's really easy to feel lonely. But when we feel most alone, there are always angels around us, willing to give a helping hand to lift us. But not all angels are from the other side of the veil. I love seeing the random people on the street that offer a smile when you walk by, or the young people on the trains that give up their seat for an older person coming on. This month we have the opportunity to participate in the Light the World campaign. Maybe we could be an angel for someone else. Love y'all and hope you have a stellar week!!
Love,
Zuster Kapp
