So this week we had our zone conference which are always a big highlight of the transfer. It's just always super fun to get together with a bunch of missionaries and learn and grow together. Something that I really enjoyed was from my mission president's wife. She had us read the story of Moroni in the Book of Mormon and how he saw our time and wrote what he wrote for us. The Book of Mormon was truly written for us and for our time and she challenged us to apply what we read to our lives. It was a good reminder that even the war chapters in Alma can have relatable content if I just take the time to study and apply it.
We also had a super cool experience with one of the people we are teaching. He is SUPER cool and we've built up quite a good relationship over these past few months. But during our lesson he kinda abruptly stopped us and told us what strong and holy people we were. It was kinda cool to hear when I usually get comments that are less than nice... But I'm just so grateful that my capacity to love others has grown so much on my mission!
Spiritual thought for this week. During our zone conference our mission president showed us the cool trailer for April conference. Pretty epic if you ask me, but something he really stressed to us is what is going to make this next conference unforgettable. I mean, we all know President Nelson very well, so there may or may not be some cool announcement, but more importantly, our personal preparation is what's going to make this such an amazing experience. So I will just re-extend President Nelson's invitation. Study Joseph Smith's account of the first vision and apply it to your life. Read it over and over again if necessary, but I know that doing so will help us be prepared to hear the voice of the Lord. Love you all SUPER TONS! Have a stellar week! :)
Love,
