Enjoy the Chocolate

Hey guys. Me again. So kinda weird... I'm 17 months on my mission today. That means I'll be home in a month. And that's really weird. But fear not! I still got a good fire burning in there so the work keeps going forward!!

This week was pretty normal compared to our other isolation days. We've had some stellar devotionals, some spiritual lessons, and talked to some pretty cool people through Facebook. My companion and I have had some legendary light bulb moments that have helped us to continue working and stay positive through this whirlwind of events. But the cool thing is that they're starting to loosen up a bit here! Not a whole lot has changed but hey, if the temples are opening too, it must be getting better!!

So this week I thought of an interesting analogy. Doing all of this missionary work on Facebook has been a good learning experience, but also very frustrating. Honestly, we haven't been able to see much "success" with Facebook work. We get some real good conversations going, but they don't go much further than that. Referencing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, we haven't found our golden ticket. Now does that mean we stop looking? OF COURSE NOT! We keep searching different places and different means to get our golden ticket. But just because we haven't found it yet, doesn't mean we can't enjoy the chocolate! Often in life we search for specific answers or wait for life changing experiences and that's not bad! But while seeking for our great desires, we have moments of tender bliss to be enjoyed! Chocolate is delicious, so don't forget to enjoy it!! Love y'all lots!!
Love,
Zuster Kapp

Pics: WARNING: gross pics ahead! I did the mission's classic "Vla High Dive", my comp has a thing for taking pics of me by greenery, and some flowers because I don't have any other pics...
