First off, happy 16th b-day to little brother Caden!! Love ya kid. So first cool experience from this week would have to be exchanges I had with the wonderful Sister Bowles. Wow, she is a party! We showed up to our exchange, basically wearing the same thing, so it was bound to be a good and blessed day. We had some super amazing experiences working together that was another reassurance that I absolutely love being a missionary.
Tender mercy pt. 2. My family has a tradition every Labor Day to go camping at the beautiful Browne Lake. For some very odd reason, I've been extremely camping trunky on my mission. Maybe it's the lack of mountains, but I really just wanted to be up camping with my family this weekend! But we had a stake activity this Saturday that we weren't originally allowed to go to, but the day before the activity, our mission president gave us permission. And WOW it was just like I was in a forest in the mountains! Made me super extra happy!! Tender mercy pt. 3 would have to be the cute 6 year old girl at church that gave me a big hug when I walked in and drew me a picture. Melted my heart!!
Spiritual thought for this week: Kinda short, but I've thought a lot about the blessings of the temple this week. I definitely took for granted how many temples I had around me when I was at home. Even being on the temple grounds, you feel a different spirit that can't be found anywhere else. I'm so grateful for the temple and the blessings that come from it. Love you all super tons and hope you have a fabulous week!
Love,
Zuster Kapp
