Woaaahh We're (almost) Halfway There!

Woaaahh living on lots of prayers!! Seriously though, thanks for them, they're helping! Hey everybody, how goes it? This week was quite busy. Kinda weird, but still quite fun and enjoyable. Some cool stuff...

We were able to do some service for a member in our ward. They've been renovating their house for a while so we helped out in their yard and in the house to get it ready to paint. Was actually super fun, and then on Sunday, we get a call from them that they were burning all the trees and shrubs we cut down and invited us over for dinner while they burned stuff. Super funny and a good time. Unfortunately, no marshmallows or hot dogs, but we enjoyed some other good Dutch snacks.

Saturday our ward did a family history open house event where we were able to teach lots of people how to do their own family history. Was super cool to see all the people that came in, so eager to learn about their ancestors. Super cool experience!!!

Cool story part three, we were able to meet with one of the people we're teaching and she drew the coolest pictures of us! I've never been drawn before, so it was super cool! I will add a pic...

Reference to the subject line, I hit my halfway mark on Thursday...weird.

Spiritual thought: I was listening to a talk by President Hinckley and he was talking a lot about the power of the Atonement. Something he said that really struck me was about not limiting the power that the atonement can have on us. Sometimes we've done everything we need to repent, but we forget to forgive ourselves. Sometimes the guilt just serves as a reminder so we don't make the same mistakes, but we can have peace and be sure that we've done all we need to. Love y'all, have a great week!!
Love,
Zuster Kapp

Pics: We celebrated cheese pizza day, we were both really tired, and my picture!
