Cool events of the week, we had a couple exchanges which are always super fun! I love getting to know new people and learning about what others are passionate about and gaining lots of cool insights from them. We also had our zone conference this week which is always one of my favorite days in the transfer. It was so awesome to see some of my best friends again after not seeing them for so long!! They focused a lot on just being normal around people and loving lots. Something I really liked that my mission president shared was that we can all do better at loving those around us. Sometimes the best solution to issues is just to love and be understanding. Something that I'm not always super good at, so it was a good reminder for me to continually work on that.
Spiritual thought for this week. Kinda different, but as I said, this week was kinda rough for me. But yesterday we had the most stellar and spiritual night that was truly a gift. We have this one girl we're teaching who is about 20 year old and is an amazing harpist. Cool right? She takes her harp around everywhere and just plays on the streets which is pretty cool. But we had an incredible lesson where the spirit was literally so strong, but what happened after was quite the tender mercy. So my comp had her violin and they played a duet of "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing" which has always been one of my favorite songs. It was so beautiful that I just couldn't hold the tears in. It was a good reminder that trials really don't last forever and God is always there to bless us in small and simple ways if we're willing to look for it. Love you all super tons and have a stellar week!!
Love,
Zuster Kapp
